Merch with Purpose
GiveMerch.com is a planned Made For Cause solution that will connect merchandise needs with people and businesses who can help.
Nonprofits and community organizations will be able to share what they need—from shirts and promotional products to design, transfers, embroidery, printing and other decorating services.
Makers, businesses, professionals and supporters will be able to help with different parts of the need by giving products, supplies, skills, services or funds.
The goal is simple bring people together to help make needed merchandise possible for causes.
Who GiveMerch Is For
GiveMerch is being created for nonprofits and community organizations that need merchandise for their staff, volunteers, programs, events, outreach, awareness or fundraising.
It will also be a place for makers, designers, decorators, suppliers, businesses and supporters who want to use what they have or what they do to help a cause.
There will be more than one way to give—and more than one way to help make a need possible.
Merchandise plays a bigger role in nonprofit work than people may realize.
Organizations need shirts for volunteers and staff, products for events, materials for outreach, merchandise for fundraising and branded items that help people recognize and remember their cause.
But getting those items made can involve design, products, supplies, decorating, equipment, labor and shipping.
GiveMerch is our idea for bringing those needs—and the people who can help meet them—together in one place.
How GiveMerch Will Work
A simple way for causes to share merchandise needs—and for people, businesses and makers to help fulfill them.
Causes Submit Their Need & It’s Shared
Causes will submit a merchandise request online and tell us exactly what help they need.
They may request:
- Products Only — blanks, apparel, promotional products or supplies
- Services Only — design, printing, embroidery, engraving or decorating
- Partial Support — help with specific parts of a project
- Full Support — products, services and funding needed to complete the project
If a cause can contribute, it can tell us what it already has, what it can provide or what portion of the cost it can cover.
GiveMerch will turn the request into a clear project showing what has already been provided and what is still needed—products, supplies, services, funds or shipping.
People Choose How to Help & Make
Makers, businesses, suppliers, professionals and supporters can choose which part of the project they want to help fulfill.
One person might provide the blanks. Another might donate the design. A Maker might provide embroidery, printing or other decorating services. Others might contribute funds toward products, supplies, services or shipping.
Participating Makers will complete the design, decorating or production services they commit to provide.
We Help Fill the Gaps
When something is still needed, Made For Cause will work to help fill the gaps through donated or discounted products and services, partnerships and fundraising.
Makers can choose to donate shipping or request shipping assistance. When needed, Made For Cause can raise funds to help cover shipping and other remaining project costs.
Select projects may also be fulfilled through Craft Press Studio with Press Pals volunteers.
The Cause Receives Its Merch
Completed merchandise will be shipped, delivered or available for local pickup when possible, ready for the cause to use for its staff, volunteers, programs, events, outreach, awareness or fundraising.

Software development is underway, with launch planned for Winter 2026. A dedicated GiveMerch launch campaign will follow after Made For Cause’s most urgent funding priorities are secured.
