You may request that your donation be publicly recognized as anonymous.

We may still need to maintain donor information internally for accounting, tax, legal, compliance, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping purposes.

We want to communicate with donors in a respectful way.

Stop sending fundraising communications
Change how frequently we contact you
Update your contact information
Change your donor recognition preference
Remove your name from public donor recognition
Update other reasonable communication preferences
Marketing and fundraising emails will provide an unsubscribe option where required.
You may still receive necessary transactional communications, such as donation receipts or communications concerning a contribution you made.
8. Protecting Donor Information
Made For Cause uses reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards intended to protect donor information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. However, protecting the information entrusted to us is an important organizational responsibility.
9. Donation Records
Certain donation information may need to be retained for accounting, tax, audit, regulatory, fraud-prevention, and legal purposes.
For this reason, a request to delete personal information may not always allow us to delete all records associated with a charitable contribution.
Where appropriate, we may limit the information retained or restrict its use to necessary recordkeeping purposes.

Made For Cause may use third-party platforms to securely process donations or provide related services.
Those providers maintain their own privacy and security practices, and information provided directly to them may also be governed by their privacy policies.
