And through its connection with Made For Cause and GiveMerch, Makers will have more ways to use what they make, know, and do to support causes.

Through Makrs.net, people, businesses, and organizations will be able to discover Makers, shop products, hire creative and production services, find local talent, connect with industry resources, discover events, and participate in a growing Maker community.
For organizations, that means an easier way to find the people, products, and services they need:

Makers Giving Back!
Makrs Network isn't only about finding customers and growing business. It's also about creating more ways for Makers to use what they make, what they do, and what they know to support causes.
Through GiveMerch, Makers can discover opportunities from causes seeking products, professional services, creative talent, production support, supplies, or other resources—and choose how they want to help.
You don't have to be a Makrs Network member to give. Businesses, professionals, and Makers from anywhere can participate in GiveMerch opportunities.
But verified Makrs Network members who give back will be able to build a visible record of their impact.

These contributions can become part of participating Makers' Makrs.net profiles—giving customers and organizations another reason to discover, hire, shop from, and support Makers who give back.
Support the Makers who Support Causes
Doing good shouldn't mean creative professionals always have to work for free.
Sometimes a Maker can donate a product or service.
Sometimes they can offer a nonprofit discount.
And sometimes the Maker needs to be paid for their work.
When an eligible nonprofit needs a product or professional service but cannot afford the cost, it may request funding assistance through Made For Cause.
When possible, Made For Cause can help raise funds toward eligible products, services, production, materials, or shipping—allowing the organization to get what it needs while supporting the Maker providing it.
If a GiveMerch opportunity isn't fulfilled through a donation, we can also explore participating Makers who may be able to provide the product or service and, when appropriate, help raise the funds needed to pay for the work.
We're not only helping causes get what they need.
We're creating more ways to support the Makers, creators, professionals, and businesses who help make that work possible.
